Some of my astronomical pictures


Surely in 1997 you have watched comet Hale-Bopp in the sky and in beautiful pictures. Here you can see two other images which have nothing special... they just were taken by me.

Pictures taken on April 5th, 1997 from Italy, using a Pentax P3N camera with a 50 mm f/1.4 lens (first photo) and a 200 mm f/4.5 lens (second photo). The camera was mounted on a telescope with equatorial movement. The film was an ordinary Kodak Gold 100 ASA.


Orion is one of the most beautiful constellations and it's easy to take pictures of it.

Picture taken on November 18th, 1999 from Italy, using a Pentax P3N camera with a 50 mm f/1.4 lens and an ordinary Kodak Gold 100 ASA film; the exposure was 30 s and the equatorial movement was not necessary.
