Condensation of vortices in the Heisenberg magnet,
abelian projection and confinement

Abstract
A disorder parameter dual to magnetization is constructed for the Heisenberg magnet. It is shown that, in the disordered phase, it signals the condensation of topological solitons. The relation with the monopole condensation in QCD is discussed.
