Integrable Quantum Field Theory and Statistical Mechanics.
Gesualdo Delfino
Abstract
It emerged over the last years that a large class of interacting
quantum field theories in two dimensions can be solved exactly.
On the statistical mechanical side this fact leads to a series
of new results for the scaling limit of the lattice models, the
Ising model in a magnetic field providing the best known example.
We will explain the main ideas underlying this approach and
mention some of the results obtained so far.
