Dual superconductivity and typology of the QCD vacuum.

Abstract

 

The dual superconductivity model for color confinement describes    the QCD vacuum as a superconductor whose typology (I or II) is   obtained from the comparison of the coherence length  xi with   the field penetration depth  lambda.

A lattice determination   of these parameters for the $SU(2)$ pure gauge case is presented.
