get to the
Workshop venue, Basiliani Hotel SPA in Otranto:
- By your own (or rented) car. Note that the Basiliani Hotel offers
ample car parking.
- By plane. We highly recommend the Brindisi airport. There
are many companies connecting Brindisi to both national and
international airports, with extra flights and destinations during the Summer.
Given the increasing flux of tourists in this region, please book your flights
well in advance. Shuttles from the Brindisi Airport to the NOW 2026 venue
(and back) will be provided by our dedicated Agency any day during Aug. 31-
Sept. 6. The shuttle transfer (~100 km) takes about 1h 20'. Note that we
shall not provide any transfer from the Bari airport, since it is much
farther (~240 km). If you want to land in Bari, you should organize your own
(and long) transfer to the Lecce train station, where we can pick you up.
- By train. We highly recommend the Lecce train station. Shuttles
from the Lecce train station to the NOW 2026 venue (and back) will be provided
by our dedicated Agency any day during Aug. 31- Sept. 6. The shuttle transfer
(~50 km) takes about 45'. Note that we shall not provide any transfer from
the local train station of Otranto, since it is served only by a regional
railway company with few connections.
Later on, participants shall inform our dedicated Agency about their expected arrival
time, date and place (plus accompanying persons, if any), so that the shuttle
service can be organized well in advance. Private taxi service to/from
the Workshop venue would be very expensive and is strongly discouraged.
