About this figure
Course map
Level. Graduate: the Standard Model and basic quantum field theory.
Each step adds a field, imposes or drops a symmetry, or allows a new term. Lecture mode walks through six scenes; Explore mode lets you click any node, with a review question and its answer.
Assumptions
- One generation, flavour indices suppressed.
- Conventions of the course notes: v ≈ 246 GeV, mD = y v/√2, mν ≃ −mD MR⁻¹ mDT; overall signs and O(1) factors differ elsewhere in the literature.
- “Allowed” means compatible with the symmetries of the model, not necessarily present or non-zero.
